About me
I am a practising bank midwife in the NHS with over 10 years experience. I have spent lots of time supporting parents-to-be through all aspects of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum. I am also a mum so I understand the mental and physical challenges that women face.
Whilst working as a midwife full time, I noticed that many women were suffering with aches, pains and other conditions that could have been prevented or certainly improved through exercise and lifestyle changes.
The correct information regarding nutrition and exercise is not readily available and there were limited classes in my local area.
Through talking to women I found that many who had previously lifted weights or played sports felt that they had to stop whilst pregnant and struggled to find the confidence to get back into exercising.
It soon became my mission to support women and enable them to work out through all stages of pregnancy and their postnatal journey.
As a working mum myself I understand how challenging finding the time and the energy to exerciseca n be no matter how motivated you are.
Through my own experience of working full time as a single parent, I understand how difficult finding the time to exercise can be.
Workouts are tailored to achieve maximum results for both your physical and mental health.
Children are welcome to join in with all of my workouts meaning that finding childcare no longer needs to be a barrier to exercise.
It is an honour to train with clients right up until they go into labour and I love being able to help postnatal women with a range of pelvic issues get back into running, weightlifting and most importantly believe in themselves and their bodies again.
